The 2022 Short Film Festival a.k.a. ‘Cool Climate Cinema’ is over.
The Festival screened over two sessions (Afternoon & Evening) on Saturday September 3, 2022
in the the Newham Mechanics Hall.

Thanks to all who attended and thanks to the hardworking MRFS Committee who have made it all happen.

The MRFS Committee viewed over 200 short films in the process of curating this Festival and then had to negotiate permissions to screen with the often hard-to-find rights holders, arranging payments where necessary and then getting the films themselves.

The two sessions were very well patronised and the feedback was VERY positive.

‘Julian’ was voted the Audience’s Favourite Film, with ‘Two Strangers who meet five times’ next best.
